6″ Cover Tape – 100′

This is a 100 foot long, 6 inch wide roll of one sided cover tape.  This is used when seaming two pieces of rubber together.  We also use this quite often to patch holes in rubber.  No need to buy patches when you have cover tape.  This tape should be used in conjunction with two sided seam tape and Quick Prime adhesive.  Rubber must be clean and dry.  Seaming on damp, rainy days will require an umbrella or roof.

Seaming rubber basics:  Clean rubber, dry rubber. apply adhesive to both pieces, allow adhesive to get tacky, apply 2 sided tape to one side avoiding wrinkles, apply other side to the tape and press out any wrinkle or bubbles, apply adhesive over the joint, allow to tack, apply single sided tape, press out wrinkle and bubbles.  Done (see pic)
