2″ Slip x 2″ MPT Adapter

This is a schedule 40 2" slip x 2" MPT adapter.  This would be used to couple a 2" piece of PVC or Flex PVC to a female threaded fitting .  This fitting is meant to be glued using PVC cement or when coupling Flex PVC, always use Christy's Red Hot Blue Glue.  We often use these to connect our main pump pipe to the pump.  Most of the larger pumps that we use have a 2" FPT fitting, so this fitting is perfect.  FPT = Female Pipe Thread.  MPT = Male Pipe Thread.
