This is a 3" rubber coupler. We often use these couplers to connect our pumps to the main pump pipe after the first 90 degree turn, just above the water. This makes it very easy to pull out the pump should you need to. We also use these to connect our pump pipe to an upflow wetland. Once again, this makes it very easy to separate the pipe should we need to.
